Program Overview
Leveraging the world-class academic platform of the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge, Tongji University and CAM AI Lab (Cambridge Artificial Intelligence Ecology Lab) at the University of Cambridge jointly launch the Tongji-Cambridge 2026 Summer Program in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the global industrial landscape and innovation ecosystem at an unprecedented pace. Under the direct instruction of distinguished Cambridge academics including Professor Pietro Liò and Dr. Andreas Vlachos, participants in this program will gain an in-depth understanding of the core logic of AI-driven innovation through systematic coursework, real-scenario project practice and international academic exchanges. They will master cutting-edge knowledge in explainable AI, computer vision, robotic systems and AI strategic transformation, experience the innovative ecosystem of the University of Cambridge that has nurtured world-leading AI enterprises such as DeepMind and Darktrace, broaden their international horizons, and develop cross-cultural academic communication and teamwork capabilities.
Eligibility & Application
We welcome students passionate about AI and technological innovation.
Undergraduate participants can obtain credits from Tongji University’s general education course.

Fee & Funding
Program Fee: £3,800 (includes tuition, accommodation, meals and airport transfer service)
Refund Policy: Full refund if cancelled 3 months in advance; 50% refund if cancelled 2 months in advance; no refund will be issued after this period
University Funding: Up to ¥8,000 per student for non-Asia region programs. Full payment must be made in advance; reimbursement will be processed within 2-3 months via the university
